FASD Awareness DaySeptember is FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) Awareness Month. This month, we aim to raise awareness on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) to help improve prevention of FASD, diagnosis, and support for individuals with FASD.
Each year, International FASD Awareness Day is recognized on September 9. Acknowledging this day on the 9th day of the 9th month serves as a reminder of the importance of staying alcohol-free throughout the 9 months of pregnancy.
